Dr. Burrow retired from the Department of the Navy after more than 34 years of service. During his career, Dr. Burrow served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development, Test and Evaluation; Executive Director and Chief Engineer for the Marine Corps Systems Command; and Department Head for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Force Warfare Systems Department. Additionally, he served in numerous technical leadership positions for Navy and Marine Corps programs. Dr. Burrow is currently a Lecturer at the University of Mary Washington, where he teaches graduate and undergraduate courses. He is the owner of JBurrow LLC, a single-member LLC providing Research and Development, Systems Engineering, Strategic Planning, and Project Management consulting services.
