Chris has more than 30 years of experience in the Musculoskeletal Industry, almost half of his career has involved M&A, fundraising, start-ups, and growing established corporations. Chris built Southern Metrics Consulting (SMC), which has a vision of enriching medical device organizations’ awareness of the expectations of multi-national corporations to advise on how we collectively “exit well.” SMC is presently serving several disruptive client technologies in the medical device space, strategic work, fundraising, due diligence planning, and exit. Prior to his current roles, Chris worked for Medtronic Spine and Biologics, leading the Business Development operation for the company for 10 years. Chris began his career at Smith & Nephew after graduating from The University of Memphis. Chris served as the past chairman of the board for the Southeast Medical Device Association (SEMDA) and is a present board member.
